Protagonist of a cinematic trailer developed for a course at the Academy of Fine Arts in Verona.
The story follows a broken family — a father and two sons — trapped within a nightmarish reality. The father and the younger son have turned into terrifying creatures, while the elder son remains human, bound by love and guilt. He keeps them locked inside their home, struggling to protect others from their hunger and to preserve the last fragment of his family.
This dark and emotional narrative explores sacrifice, fear, and the fragile ties that bind us to those we love, even when love becomes unbearable.
The character was fully sculpted in ZBrush, retopologized in Maya, textured in Substance 3D Painter, and rendered in Maya with Arnold.
The next phase will involve animation in Maya and scene assembly in Unreal Engine, bringing the character to life within a fully immersive environment.
The design process focused on balancing intricate sculptural detail with clean, efficient topology, ensuring both high visual fidelity and strong performance for real-time rendering.
